NY Introduces Online Platform for Residents to Share ICE Footage After Detentions of 4 American Citizens

New York state attorney general has launched a fresh digital platform urging citizens to provide photos and videos of immigration raids around the state. This move comes just a shortly after a significant immigration operation shook Manhattan's Chinatown, prompting mass outcry.

US Citizens Arrested In ICE Operation

A lawmaker disclosed during a midweek briefing that four citizens were arrested and held for "about 24 hours" after Tuesday's raid. Demonstrations occurred in NYC on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

"Every New Yorker deserves to exist without intimidation," state officials wrote in a announcement.

"For those who saw and captured federal operations during the raid, I ask you to provide that evidence with us. We are committed to assessing these reports and evaluating any wrongdoings."
