LA Explodes in Celebration as Dodgers Claim Back-to-Back World Series Victory
The City of Angels experienced citywide celebrations after the Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Fans across the globe joined local residents in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has secured consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Enormous Turnout
Los Angeles area events featured a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage show countless of Angelenos flooding city center avenues, many displaying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the championship trophy high.

The procession path concluded at the stadium, where the players emerged to the rapper’s “Not Like Us,” with the renowned DJ spinning music and the artist driving a Pacific blue classic car around the stadium’s outfield.

The championship served as a positive moment in what has been a challenging year for Los Angeles. An approximate 225,000 people showed up to the championship parade last year, and according to team member Freddie Freeman, supporters this year showed equal or greater support.
“I feel like it’s nearly twice from last year,” Freeman remarked. “The supporters are incredible. It’s truly amazing to be a part of this.”
